Video game publisher Activision has confirmed that the latest entry in the Call of Duty series will launch on Xbox Game Pass, granting access to millions of players as part of their subscription.
Xbox consistently strives to draw more players into the Game Pass subscription and the addition of the shooter — which sells millions of copies every year — is a surefire way of doing that.
Activision was acquired by Microsoft in a $68.7 billion deal in October 2023. The acquisition saw many legal challenges before finally being confirmed, making the World of Warcraft and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater publisher officially part of the Microsoft family.
As expected, the next Call of Duty game will also launch on PC and PlayStation consoles. A release date has currently not been announced.
