Six classic Atari Lynx games are coming to Nintendo Switch for the first time in ‘The Epyx Collection: Handheld’. The collection will be released on April 25th via the Nintendo eShop.
‘The Epyx Collection: Handheld’ includes: ‘California Games’, ‘Blue Lightning’, ‘Gates of Zendocon’, ‘Todd’s Adventures in Slime World’, ‘Zarlor Mercenary’, and ‘ElectroCop’ — all memorable games from the late 1980s and early 90s.
Developed by Imagine Software and published by Pixel Games UK, ‘The Epyx Collection: Handheld’ allows gamers to experience these games again or for the first time. Display Filters allow for games to be played as if they’re on a CRT television, save their game switch suspend points, and rewind 5 seconds of gameplay to make it that little bit easier to finally complete these challenging games.
‘The Epyx Collection Handheld’ will be released worldwide on Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop on April 25th 2024 for £11.99 / $11.99 / €13.99.
