Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is a brand-new Harry Potter video game based on the fictional sport from the franchise. Quidditch is a Wizarding World sport where contestants try to catch the golden snitch by flying on brooms. It’s known to be a huge part of the franchise yet it was absent from the recently released game – Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy did explain the reasons why Quidditch was not featured in the game but it did not stop the fans from wishing it was included. There was a point during development where Quidditch was planned to be in the game but seemed to be entirely scrapped, which gave fans some kind of hope for a DLC or a potential sequel. However, while the debate amongst fans on whether it will ever come to Hogwarts Legacy or not, Warner Bros. are giving the fans what they wanted with a new online multiplayer game specifically dedicated to the sport.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is described as a “fast-paced, online multiplayer game” that has apparently been in development for several years. Unbroken Studio is the primary developer of the game, who is known for assisting Rocksteady in the making of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. But like other Harry Potter video game projects, it will be released under the Portkey Games label.

An official release date for the game has yet to be announced and unfortunately has no trailer but some CG footage has hinted that the game will have a cartoonish art style.
